Her third novel, Do Not Say We Have Nothing, was a #1 national bestseller, won the Giller Prize and the Governor General’s Literary Award, and was shortlisted for the Booker Prize. It sold in many territories around the world. Originally from Vancouver, Thien currently divides her time between New York City and her home in Montreal.
