Sheldon X. Zhang is Professor of Sociology at San Diego State University. He is the author of many books, including Chinese Human Smuggling Organizations—Families, Social Networks, and Cultural Imperatives and Smuggling and Trafficking in Human Beings: All Roads Lead to America.
