Sanjay Kumar Singh went to school at St. Michael's High School, Patna and Bishop Cottons Boys School, Bangalore. He has graduated in Economics (Honours) from St. Stephen's College, Delhi, and has a Law Degree from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University. He is now a practicing lawyer and lives with his wife Leena, daughter Vaibhavi, fondly called Tiggle, and their pet Labrador named Phantom in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
