Alycia Christine grew up near the dusty cotton fields of Lubbock, Texas, and fell in love with reading when her father first read fantasy and science fiction books to her at age ten. Her love of writing and photography blossomed during her time at Texas A&M University where she earned a B.S. in agriculture journalism. She began writing her first novel Skinshifter as part of a college course project. Since then, her fiction and nonfiction books like have gone on to enchant readers around the world. Her photography has been featured in Times Square. When she isn't writing, shooting photography, or drawing, Alycia works to promote education and literacy through local and international philanthropic organizations.
