After 30 years, Bob began a second career authoring 35 books about historic and collectable farm tractors. However, Bob's first love was flying, and he finally directed his efforts into this volume of stories about pilots that he collected. Bob began taking flying lessons when he was 16 years old, had his private pilot's license during his senior year of high school, and later acquired a commercial pilot's license with a multi-engine rating.
