As one of seven children, Rachel Collins grew up in Cleveland, Ohio before moving to the mountains of Colorado in her early teens. From a young age she dreamed of moving to LA and becoming a fashion stylist. But when Rachel was fifteen, her only sister was born. Ever determined to rein in the chaos of her big family...and have dinner on the table before midnight... Rachel began doing the cooking. She eventually discovered a new found freedom and a creativity she hadn't known existed. She began chronicling her fresh takes on old favorites and coupling them with her styling skills - only this time on tables and cutting boards - on her blog. Since then, lots of people have fallen in love with her unique recipes, stunning photography, and charming life in her barn, which she has made into her home, high up in the snow-capped mountains.
