Jessica Barondes grew up in La Jolla, California, and now makes her home in Los Angeles with her husband, Ben, and their son, Jonah. Also a screenwriter, her feature film Wish Upon a Star, a winner of the Heartland Film Festival, has been featured on the Disney Channel.
