D.A. Jolley lives in northern California and spends most of his time making up magical make-believe worlds or pretending to be in outer space. He has two cats and a wonderful wife with whom he has written over twenty other books. His wife, not the cats - though they might make interesting co-authors, as long as he wanted to write stories about fish and fuzzy toys that look like mice. Since D.A. is basically an overgrown kid himself, he figured it was time to write a children's book.
