Marvin Gilbert, a retired Assemblies of God missionary to Africa, directs the Doctor of Ministry degree program at Southwestern Assemblies of God University, Waxahachie, Texas. He was the lead editor of the two-volume set The Holy Spirit and Counseling and the recently published text entitled Missiological Research: Interdisciplinary Foundations, Methods, and Integration.
