Dr. Preston Russell lives in Savannah, Georgia. He has written books on the history of Georgia, the southern Low Country, and the American Revolution. Russell's last book was the on the story of Joan of Arc of France, titled Lights of Madness-in Search of Joan of Arc. He has also published many history articles in American and English magazines.
