Geraldine Hogan knows the triumphs and challenges, successes and defeats that accompany a decision to make a major career move. After working as a teacher for more than a decade, she stepped out of her comfort zone and pursued a legal career. After law school Geraldine moved from Gainesville, Florida, to Miami and began her legal career as a prosecutor for the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office. She practiced workers' compensation law prior to receiving a gubernatorial appointment as a Judge of Compensation Claims for the State of Florida, in the Ft. Lauderdale District Office. In December 2018 she retired from her judicial position and with excitement and trepidation started a medi-ation practice, Geraldine Hogan, P.A.
