Jon Doust is the acclaimed author of several novels for older readers, including "Boy On a Wire." James Foley is an award-winning illustrator ("The Last Viking") and also author/illustrator of "In the Lion." Jon Doust says that he has never loved cars. He has only ever owned two of them, one of which he still drives. The other was crushed up and made into muesli for metal eating robots from planet Ferric. Jon lives in Albany, Western Australia, with his human wife and his five adopted children from Ferric.
