Author Raul Gonzalez has performed more than 1,000 plastic and reconstructive surgeries of the buttocks and assisted Dr. Robles on Brazilas first buttock implants in 1986. He has published more than 10 peer-reviewed articles on buttocks surgery and has been invited to demonstrate and speak about buttock surgery in more than 120 congresses, symposia, and workshops around the world, recently including Plastic Surgery 2006, ISAPS 2006, and IMCAS 2007. Dr. Gonzalez is the creator of the XYZ plan, a safe and anatomically precise technique for intramuscular buttock implant. He is a member of the Brazilian, American, and French Societies of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
