Scott has lived in Colorado, California and Wyoming but currently makes his home in Texas, where he grew up. Since 2002 he has played a part in producing more than 16 graphic novels, as editor or co-writer or lead artist, for Big Head Press. He studied art and journalism at the Universtiy of Texas at Austin, where he became an editorial cartoonist for _The Daily Texan_, but values the commercial art classes he took at Austin Community College most of all.
