Laurel Stowe Brady grew up in Vermont, the third oldest in a family of eleven children. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Law Enforcement and English. Laurel and her husband, Jim, are parents of a racially mixed family of eight children, and they have been foster parents for approximately one hundred others. They live in a small town in Utah. Say You Are My Sister is Laurel's first book for children.
