David Silverman is a summa cum laude graduate of Temple University and studied English literature and dance. He has an extensive background in pageantry arts and has designed and consulted with numerous competitive organizations. For nearly 30 years, he has served as a clinician and adjudicator for marching band and color guard events. He is employed by the federal government as a Paralegal Specialist where every day is an adventure. In addition to Iceland, he has spent extensive time in Japan and travels there twice yearly. He currently resides in both Longport, New Jersey and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his spouse and enjoys fitness, mahjongand cooking. Ring Road is his first novel but will not be his last.
