Originally from Leeds, Chloë Ewart is a Eurasian, working class writer and actor, graduating from Drama Studio London in 2010.
Before being selected as a writer to collaborate on James Graham’s Sketching, Chloë was long-listed for the Verity Bargate Award for her one-woman show, Things I Know, in 2017. Prior to that she received funding from Film London for her short film, Cupidity, as part of the London Calling 2016 slate, which went on to win ‘Best Short’ at the Unrestricted View Film Festival. She has had several short plays produced including Penpals (Southwark Playhouse), 24 hours (Vaults Festival) and Shoes (Lit Theatre), and in 2016, Chloë’s short story,
Days of Apryl, was shortlisted for the 4th Estate/Guardian BAME award.
