Carol Joan Campbell has been writing stories and poems for most of her life. Her children's book Verses From A Garden, and Other Nature Things was published in 2006. Campbell's 1997 song "You Don't Have Fins" that she wrote for a children's safety CD, Why Knot Play By The Rules, won fourth place that year in John Lennon's international song writers competition. She and her husband, Bill, live in Brainerd, Minnesota, surrounded by woods and with family living nearby. She has written several articles which have been published in a local magazine, and is a member of The Brainerd Writers Alliance.
