Ken Birks is a Pastor/Teacher in the body of Christ and an elder at The Rock of Roseville in California where he has also functioned as a Bible teacher since its inception in 1997. Before this, Ken was the Senior Pastor of Golden Valley Christian Center, a non-denominational, Spirit-filled church in Roseville, for twelve years. Ken and his wife, Lydia, have been married for over 35 years and have two adult children and four grandchildren. They were foster parents over the past 25 years to over twenty well-loved children and teens (now young adults), which they consider one of their highest callings in their life and ministry. Ken is a leading wedding officiant in the Sacramento Metropolitan region. His internet ministry, Sowing Seeds of Faith -- located at kenbirks.com -- reaches over 2,500 unique visitors a day with free Bible studies, sermon outlines, audion and video messages, podcasts, and other Bible study and home group materials to help equip saints for the work of the ministry.
