Steven C. Macon's first written effort was a puppet play for his fifth grade class, which he produced and directed with several of his friends. A first novel was began in seventh grade, which was co-authored with another school friend.
Steven has been influenced by several writers; JRR Tolkien, Ray Bradbury, Andre Norton, Paul O Williams, Elizabeth Moon, Tom Clancy, and CJ Cherryh. Art influences include Peter Max and the whole Flower Power Generation of art and artists.
