Joy K. Massenburge is the author of A Cry for Independence, an African American romance. Born a preacher's kid, she eventually married a pastor and together they raised three PKs. Joy loves to write contemporary romances featuring families in church leadership roles. She resides in Tyler, Texas, where you can find her curled up on her back porch with a good book, playing with her grandchildren, or filling her five-acre country home for a Blue Bell ice cream party.
