Ángel Valdés is a Professor of Biology at the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and Research Associate at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and the California Academy of Sciences. Ángels research career focuses on the study of the biodiversity, phylogeny andbiogeography of nudibranchs and other sea slugs and has published more than 140 scientific papers on these topics as well as several field guides.
