Brandi Chambless is a graduate of University of Louisiana in Monroe where she received honors in the field of English. Her studies in creative writing spawned a knack for short stories and poetry as she continued to pursue a career in technical writing, media, and communication.

Brandi is the author of a syndicated column, The Soapbox, first noticed by Max Miller publisher and owner of The Cross Timbers Gazette. Once a competitor, Miller first noticed Brandi's work in the media and approached her about writing for his publication. Thus, began Brandi's Soapbox journey in 2010. She is the author of The Legend of the Secret Flowers, Miss Bee and The Butterfly Garden, and The Brothers of Two Paw Estates all part of the series Tails of Two Paw Estates.

In addition to writing professionally, Brandi has served in children's, drama, and music ministries throughout the southeastern US and in Texas. She has been a foster Mom who enjoys using her home to make others feel welcome. It is her hope that this silly bedtime story will be one that is enjoyed for years to come.
