Andrew Humphreys was born in Sydney, Australia, where he currently resides. He was educated at Sydney University, where he studied Arts and Law, and has worked as a magazine writer, editor and publisher. These days he teaches writing to fresh-faced university students. He daydreams a lot. Occasionally he also writes books. His first novel, The Weight of the Sun, was published by Allen + Unwin in 2001. In 2002 he was named as one of The Sydney Morning Herald's Best Young Australian Novelists. Wonderful is his second novel. He is 33 years old.
