Laura McGee Kvasnosky has written and illustrated many books for children, including the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award–winning Zelda and Ivy: The Runaways. That book and five others about the Fox Sisters were inspired by Laura’s childhood adventures with her sister Kate and their siblings. For Little Wolf’s First Howling, Laura wrote the text and painted the black line for the artwork using gouache resist. Laura McGee Kvasnosky lives in Seattle.
