Ron has previously published two children's books with Hicks Smith-Methuen 'The Wind Comes...' and 'The Sea Waits...'. The former was Commended by the Children's Book Council of Australia in 1974. It remained in libraries for over 20 years and was produced on Norwegian television. It was used by a Catholic Nun for her Communion courses in Australia. Different Protestant groups in Canada and Australia requested copying the text of 'The Wind Comes...' (although the book makes no mention of religion). Ron has been able to return to writing in recent years and more children's and other books are in progress. However, he has made the present book his priority as a contribution towards resolving the religious conflicts of the world today and achieving reconciliation. In this venture, Ron had the good fortune to meet with Chris Hartney who agreed to work with him and make his own contributions to this book. An Australian, born in UK, Ron is widely travelled in the Americas (speaking Spanish, Portuguese and French and basic knowledge of Italian and German), the Pacific, Asia, Europe and Africa, and has spent time with indigenous peoples in Panama, Guyana and Australia. He has a BSc from London, Diplome from Paris and PhD from UCLA (California). In recent years he has specialised in interpersonal skills development, teamwork, and sustainability, and published many articles on these topics; he has also published some short stories. He is at work on a sequel to this book.
