Leigh Goodison grew up in British Columbia, Canada. She worked in the medical and legal professions for many years. Her writing influences are P.D. James, Ruth Rendell, Anya Seton, and Daphne du Maurier. Leigh has owned horses since she was eight-years-old and has two purebred Arabian horses, a palomino Quarab and an Anglo-Arab.
