Sara-Jane Cromwell is a successful business owner and author of Becoming Myself. Born Thomas in Dublin in 1960, she was diagnosed with gender identity disorder at the age of 43 and began her transition into her new identity as Sara-Jane. After spending a number of years as a lobbyist for gender identity disorder rights in Ireland, Ms Cromwell retired from public life to focus on her personal and professional life .
