After earning her BFA degree in Musical Theater and acting in Los Angeles for several decades, Lea decided to broaden her horizons; she moved to Missouri and learned to make coloring books - while helping Penny produce Little Pup & Mortal Danger. She takes dance classes, and is planning her next coloring book creations, after Penny's Garden. She has authored and illustrated The Snazzy Jazzy Nutcracker Coloring Book, which has been nominated for TCK Publishing's 2017 Readers Choice Awards in the Favorite Children's Book category.
