Born in Cardiff in 1953, P.R. Ellis spent 35 years as a science teacher in Norwich, Isle of Wight and near Newbury before retiring to Herefordshire to write fiction and educational resources. Painted Ladies is P R Ellis’ first crime novel and the first to use experiences of transgender.
