Lisa M. Lane is a historian and author. She writes literary fiction, academic works, and Victorian mysteries featuring authentic details and real historical figures. After several decades as a history professor, she turned her hand to putting flesh on the bones of the historical past. She lives in San Diego with her artist-woodworker husband David and their cat Sabrina.
