Clive Taylor is a member of the Alvis Owners' Club and lives in New Zealand. He has always had an interest in speed and competition in its various forms since boyhood. Riding a Claude Butler racing bicycle at twelve, an early BSA Bantam at sixteen, and then two Triumph Tiger 100’s. In New Zealand he bought an Alvis 12/40 Tourer CT 1240, entered several R’Oil Can Rallies and the VCC International Rally in Invercargill 2006. Now he own an Alvis TE21 Saloon TE 21 S3, an ongoing rolling-road restoration.
