David Reid is a leader in Gould Evans' education design practice, and a co-founder of STEAM Studio where he plays an instrumental role in gathering qualitative and quantitative feedback on the program's impact on students' and teachers' learning experiences. In his role with Gould Evans, David applies insights from the firm's education research and project experience to benefit clients across its five national studios. His curiosity has led to the firm's adoption of a uniquely multidisciplinary design process, unlocking new insights through collaborative work with educators, anthropologists, psychologists, industrial designers, and industry partners of education institutions. He is particularly passionate about engaging the unbridled minds of young students, and tapping into their creative genius to reframe standards in educational planning. His end goal is the exploration of emerging 21st-century educational pedagogies and how they interact with new designs for the built environment. STEAM Studio is an ideal incubator for such opportunities.
