KARNA SMALL BODMAN served six years in The Reagan White House, first as Deputy Press Secretary, later as Senior Director of the National Security Council. This experience inspired her to write this children's picture book. She is also the author of five award winning adult novels. She is a founding Trustee of Naples Community Church in Naples, FL, where she lives with her husband and two loveable dogs.
