Barbara A. Wood is a native of Columbus, Ohio. She was raised by her mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and their personalities formed a catalyst for her art. Her mother encouraged her to sketch and paint, always keeping ample supplies of artist materials in the house. Following high school, she attended Traphagen School of Fashion before transferring to the New York Students Art League to pursue her passion. With a career spanning six decades, Barbara has amassed a list of collectors that is a virtual "Who's Who" of celebrities around the world. She has traveled from London to Scotland, Alaska, and Japan exhibiting in one-woman-shows. Through her serigraphs and other works of art, she is able to reach an audience far and wide, her work holding a special place in the hearts of countless individuals.
