John Webb was born and raised in Zululand, South Africa. He qualified as an attorney in 1995 and his work as a lawyer took him to many countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He has written as a contributor to GQ and Esquire and was a finalist in the Mondi Magazine Journalist of the Year for Essays and Fiction. This is his first novel. He lives in Cape Town.
