Robert L. Williams is a native of Washington, DC. His transportation career included Amtrak, the Maryland Transit Administration, the Maryland State Highway Administration, and the Maryland Transportation Authority. He is a railroad historian and a collector of railroad memorabilia and the author/coauthor of seven other books on railroading.
