Elizabeth Gunn grew up in Minnesota, raised a family in Montana, and lives now in Tucson, Arizona, where her Sarah Burke crime series is set. A one-time innkeeper with a taste for travel and adventure, she has been a private pilot, a SCUBA diver and a live-aboard sailor in Mexico and the Bahamas. She is the author of eighteen novels and many short stories. "I've been lucky enough to wander around the world a good deal and enjoy life," she says, "and much of what I've learned goes into my stories."
