Barry Dufour is Visiting Professor in Education Studies at De Montfort University, UK. He has been a Vice President of the Association for the Teaching of the Social Sciences, is a Fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and is a holder of the Vice Chancellor's Distinguished Teaching Award at De Montfort University, UK. He is the author of over 50 articles and several books including Developing Citizens (edited with Tony Breslin, 2006) and Studying Education (edited with Will Curtis, 2011).
