Frank Warren's first salty taste of surfing in 1938, at age six, aboard a homemade tandem paddleboard in Long Beach, was the beginning of a lifelong love of the ocean waves. Bodysurfing at Huntington Beach and Laguna Beach in the late 1940s led to longboarding on a used Hobie pigboard during the mid-1950s at San Onofre and Huntington, the main surfing venues for Warren and his buddies. Frank is still bodysurfing and bellyboarding at his favorite spots on the North Shore of Oahu and Maui, at the age of eighty-four. Never too old to hit the waves for a cool ride.
