Robyn Silbey holds a Master of Science degree in mathematics education from McDaniel College and a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from the University of Maryland, College Park. For over 30 years, Silbey has authored and co-authored books, computer software, workbooks, and articles. Silbey presents workshops at national and international conferences including NCSM, NCTM, ASCD, and NSDC. She was invited to and presented her Speaking, Writing, and Problem Solving" workshop at the International Congress of Math Educators (ICME) in Copenhagen, Denmark. Silbey served as a teacher consultant in the Teaching Training Corps as part of the Teacher-to-Teacher Initiative for the United States Department of Education.
