Originally from Northern California, Jessica is the daughter of military veterans and grew up near Charleston, South Carolina, the fifth of six children. Jessica's love of reading and writing developed at an early age; she began reading novels and writing plays at just seven years old. She continues to spend her time drafting plays, novels, poetry and song lyrics. After completing her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor's in Psychology, she went on to obtain a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a provisionally licensed professional counselor, she works as part of a clinical team in the behavioral health field. Jessica currently resides outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, reading and stoking her imagination through a devout love of the outdoors.
