Glenys Ambrus was born in London. She set out to study fashion at college but says, “I loved the drawing, hated the pattern cutting.” She went on to study at the Royal College of Art where she met her husband, Victor. Glenys has illustrated more than 50 children’s books and is also acclaimed as a fine artist with a flair for colour and pattern in her beautiful pastel work.
