Christine Hamm has published four books of poetry exploring the roles of animals, fairytales, gender, and violence. Her works include GORILLA (The Word Works, 2021) and THE TRANSPARENT DINNER (Mayapple Press, 2006).Her poems have been published in Painted Bride Quarterly, Rattle, Rhino, and Pinch. She also has an MSW from NYU, an MA in fiction writing, and is half-way through an MFA in poetry from Columbia. She lives in New Jersey. She is the 8th annual winner of the Tenth Gate Prize.
