Richard Sand is the multiple award-winning author of thirteen books and a practicing attorney. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission and a professor of creative writing. He also is a member of The Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, a teacher of metaphysics and a martial arts grandmaster. He is married to acclaimed athlete and educator, Kathie Daley, and has four children, as well as two German Shepherds and nine chickens.
