Gillian French is the author of Grit and The Door to January. Her books have been nominated for an Edgar Award and a Bram Stoker Award, and her short fiction has placed in Writer's Digest and Zoetrope: All Story contests. Gillian holds a BA in English from the University of Maine, and currently resides in central Maine with her husband and sons.
