Will Kostakis splits his time between writing for young adults and touring Australia to inspire young adults to write stories of their own. First published at nineteen, he is best known for writing whip-smart comedies that break (then mend) hearts. His previous novel, We Could Be Something, won the 2024 Prime Minister's Literary Award for Young Adult Literature.
An advocate for young readers and writers, he was awarded the 2020 Maurice Saxby Award by the School Library Association of New South Wales for service to children's and young adult literature.
