Dawn Walker is a writer, poet, painter, and sculptor. She has been creating stories since elementary school when her teacher Mrs. Pierce encouraged her to keep writing. She is the recipient of an award from the International Society of Poetry and has had several drawings published in the Censorship in Art. When not engaged in artistic pursuits, she works for the United Parcel Service. A mother and grandmother, she lives in Philadelphia.
