Lauren E. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in ecology and evolutionary biology from Princeton University and a Master of Arts degree in international relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She serves as a consultant to the United Nations family of organisations, an eco-writer and editor for the International Institute of Sustainable Development (IISD), and an adjunct professor in the Africana Studies Program of Rowan University. Lauren resides in South Jersey, USA, with her family. Recruited is her first novel.
