J. Marsha Michler is author of eleven books, including The Magic of Crazy Quilting, Crazy Quilts by Machine, Crazy Quilted Heirlooms and Gifts, Motifs for Crazy Quilting, and Crazy Quilt Decor from Krause Publications. She has written many articles and projects for magazines, and has won quilt awards for her crazy quilts. Marsha actively pursues various other needlearts, jewelry making, spinning, knitting, crocheting, pottery, photography, and website design. In her spare time she gardens, builds stone walls, travels, and enjoys sushi with her husband. She resides in the beautiful foothills of southern Maine.
